Quote for the day

Our friend can spill his dinner in our lap and we won't mind; our enemy annoys us by the way he holds his fork.

How weird is that, but it is totally true. Well said.
Have a great day, Meow

Verrry true. Is this an original? In any case I'm adding it to my collection.

how about broken glass in your lap? and (i'm afraid to ask), how is my "fork-holding"?

So true....but here is a thought.....

Do we ever get tired of our friend spilling dinner on our lap or are we always going to be ok with it no matter how many or how often...as long as they are sorry and are still our friend? :)

yeah, I was kind of wondering if it counted if you got really mad at them after dumping their food in your lap but still considered them a friend? (or they still considered you a friend).

seriously, tho: great quote.

Not original, but couldn't find the author.
Broken glass: all good, because of your status. :)
Not sure about the friend who makes a habit of the dinner-in-the-lap thing, or a friend you got mad at. I think those are separate categories outside the broad generalization represented by the original quote.
