I'm so unhip I have no idea what that is (although I recognize the duct tape and the cardboard...). Do enlighten me.
Since I’m an ultra hip kind of dude it looks like it will be up to me to explain this. It’s a miniature mockup of a skateboard park complete with jumps, ramps, ledges, drop offs and railings you can grind on. It also features quarter pipes and other radical jumps you can bust tricks and catch air on. This is one sick skateboard course bro.
Good Job David!
I thought it was a real skateboard "park" that he built in the garage... until I noticed the tiny plastic skateboard. hee hee.
well, i'm impressed. i think he can fashion a career out of this -- skateboard park architect (i'm sure if there isn't any official position there will be).
saw something recently -- water skiing on a single board and using some kind of ramp-like walls to perform skateboard tricks. it was pretty cool.
If he can actually fingerboard that thing, I'll be impressed.
thx for your comments, dudes.
LCS, i'll let blogball's explanation stand -- it's better than mine whb.
AV, we *are* actually building a half-pipe in the garage...
si, never seen the water-skiing thing -- sounds cool.
cope, weird thing is, he *can* fingerboard it -- not necessarily every trick there is, but a whole lot of them...
My Thanks to LeftcoastSister for admitting ignorance...I had no idea what he had created...Thanks to the totally hip explanation by blogball...I am now a member of the awe stricken public!! Way to go David!!!!
