I think you should also sometimes offer your thoughts on some quotes.
Like, I think you should explain the quote you posted a long time ago about alcohol is the curse of the whatever and it makes you shoot at your landlord or something. I didn't get that one at all.

well, the landlord one is funny because you think the guy's saying that alcohol's bad because it makes you shoot at your landlord (the way you or i would think). but the last line is "...and it makes you miss him" which reveals that what he considers bad is the fact that alchohol impairs your aim, and that he would in fact *like* to shoot his landlord. the sudden shift in POV is a common trigger for humor.
ah, never mind -- if you have to explain it, it's just not as funny...
