Well, I guess it is the nose....
: )
I'm curious as to why you're both looking in opposite directions
or is that: "each" looking in opposite directions? Maybe "both" is like saying, "We went to different schools together." Anyway, very clever drawing even if it doesn't look like anyone we know.
okay, i've finally done it (yay!)
now cindy is not bad; but you -- if you looked like this, you would creep me out... :)
(aren't you glad i'm back??)
also, looks like you did do the goatee-thing -- the goatee may be the most attractive thing about your caricature; well, hair's not bad. (what else can i dissect?)
(sure you're *really* glad i'm back.) :)
Your nose might not quite look like that now but it will when you are around 75.
My nose is about ¾ of the way there.
Ok...it appears that the artist dug deep inside of you and brought out the lech!!...lol well not always so deep inside...but anyway...Si has a great point...that creepy lecherous look could scare a girl into next week..
fun though you are right about that....
I don't like Cindy for her name. I protest it. Some proposals for you:
Leticia
Cristina
Gabriela
Thank you.
Blogball is right: The nose and ears continue to grow as we age. My poor Dad had the biggest ears and nose we ever saw and we were afraid the casket lid would not close when he passed away. :(
Si, words cannot describe how my heart sings to have you back.
Roxy, how about Camila (Spanish pronunciation)? You like that okay?
And yeah, I look like Shylock. As mentioned, the guy drew us looking away from each other. What you can't see is he also drew a big bag of money at my feet at the bottom of the pic. The implication to me was Beautiful Bimbo + Rich Dirty Old Man.
But Camila was happy with her big breasts (not accurate) and that she looked pretty, so all's well that ends cynically. Or whatever.
Well, we did do the nose.....a bit. But he is a witch. Burn him!
i think "camila" fits her more than "cindy" but "camila" does conjure up other "camillas" (i know -- they're not pronounced the same!) in my mind: "camilla soprano" and the chicken that gonzo was enamored with on "the muppets" (not to ruin the name or anything). :-)
also, had a cat named "camille" -- FWIW.
forgot to mention -- "my heart sings" also to BE ABLE to comment on your blog (isn't that what i'm supposed to say?)!
OK, I like Camila (Spanish pronunciation). I don't really know the muppet one. And who's Camilla Soprano? Tony's wife is named Carmela...
forgot to say i was sorry to hear about the logistical problems with your dad's funeral, jay aitch. :)
i love it when the conversation turns to muppets! and si, i never knew camilla's last name was soprano.
although it'd be awesome if she were related to tony soprano. mobster italian chicken!
and is it just me, or does camila/cindy favor a hotter marcia cross meets naomi judd there?
i HATE being wrong!!
you're right roxy, it IS "carmela" soprano. but heatherfeather -- i'm going with your explanation -- i meant to say "camilla soprano", the muppet chicken!
upon thinking about it further, i probably meant "camilla parker-bowles" but in my excitement of being able to comment on bryan's blog again, i got confused. (also just read an article about "the sopranos" coming to A&E -- a sanitized version...) bryan, i'm sure you're grateful for my nonsense ramblings.
also, i don't think the caricature does camila full justice either (it's just not as bad as bryan's). she, IRL, does remind me of someone -- i just can't conjure up the name (and i'd probably get it wrong anyway!).
but, si, you were correct - it is camilla! i was going to be nerdy enough to jump up and watch my muppet movie DVD, but decided to go to google and wikipedia instead.
oooh, i need to save some money to get the muppet show on DVD too.
good heavens, i'm a giant dork.
upon rereading, i seem that i'm also a giant dork in that i don't read things thoroughly...
