That was amusing.
Found the current topic on topic drift annoying... it just feeds into the idea that "We are American so we are the best." Travel get to know a place then comment please. (and when on a trip no plaid pants and US flags)
i found her post amusing (*i'm* assuming tongue-in-cheek). thanks for finding it after trying to describe it to me -- not that effective, the describing, i mean.
apropos of nothing else to this post: remember your quote about friends dumping dinner in your lap vs enemies holding their fork -- well, i forgot to mention in the previous comment that i was able to combine this quote as a "fork-in-*your*-lap" (tines down) very nicely this trip. as mentioned before about "broken glass", if i had tried to aim for your lap, i couldn't have done it.
also, i think you should post the elephant costume story. it would have been nice for mother's day as a tribute -- i don't think it's too late. :)
haven't read topic drift's most current post (but I'm gonna now) but I think the writer is brilliant.
btw, have read some of topic drift's posts. you're right -- she's wonderful -- laugh-out-loud funny.
