Say cheese!
I love this picture. I think it should get some kind of award for Least Ready Subjects...
In other news, much good times were had with friends and family in California. Lots of food, talk, games, relaxation. Flights were a bit of a mess, but got to go first class both ways, which tickled the kids.
Back to work today; back on the road starting Sunday afternoon.
Merry New Year to all.

not to mention "least effective flash" too.
but what do i know? everything could have been under red water. ;)
heatherfeather, you have caused me major chuckles, I just thought it was my monitor. :)
Welcome back Bryan, we missed you. ec
Well, for your information, it WAS under red water. That's how my family lives, you got a problem with that?
Okay, yes, the flash was off and it the pic is not in focus. Plus the people are not as good looking as Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie.
And there is a regrettable lack of racial diversity, but sometimes that happens in families...
:-)
See, I've met some of your family - well, one of your family, and seen pictures - well, picture - of you, and I think you are quite attractive people. Therefore your families must be attractive as well. I'm not sayin' that so you alls'll get inflated egoes. It's just that you're a fine lookin' bunch.
And Angelina's BIG LIPS freak me out a little. Not to mention some of her predilictions.
and NO FAIR CORRECTING THE PICTURE MAKING ME LOOK INSANE.
THPBLLLLLLLLLLLLLL :P
Was your Mom a teacher? What did she teach? I'm thinking English or Spanish, or maybe she was a substitue teacher. I, like heatherfeather, have met some (one) of your family, and so I should really have figured this all out by now, but I suppose I'm a little slow on the uptake.
Teacher, correct. English degree, teaching credential, subbed in Jr/Sr HS.
As to figuring it all out: Yes, I can't think why my family structure isn't the first thing you think about every morning when you wake up... ;-)
I remember a Mrs. "Torre", but I can't place if it was just a sub, or one of my teachers. For some reason, Senora Torre sticks in my head, which makes me think she was a sub for one of my classes....
i usually think about how the stupid dog insists on not being toilet trained first thing in the morning.
but the torre family lineage is always the second thing.
Oh, and Bryan, I blame you for not being a good big brother and teaching your little brother not to throw gum in girls' hair in eighth grade. Heck, he's probably glad I don't blame him anymore ;)
I love needling him about this every couple of years :)
