Most juries, unfortunately, aren't made up of people with to-do lists a mile long and who know how to organize all those tasks and to multi-task and to think logically, etc. They, instead, are often made up of people who don't work (thus the free time to be on a jury), who watch reality T.V. and Jerry Springer. Since you fall into the former category, maybe you'll be spared....
btw, does your state/county make allowances for the self-employed? my sister served on a jury & was told after the fact that she should have told them (the county?) that she was self-employed (which she was at the time) & would not earn any income, and she probably would have gotten out of serving (not that people should shirk their civic duties, of course!)
